Carbon Foot Print Data

considering the following phone model
1) A simple entry phone with 10W charger which takes around 3Hrs to full charge
2) A simple midrange with 18W charger which takes around 2Hrs to full charge
3) A simple flagship killer with 30W charger which takes around 1.5Hrs to full charge
4) Faster phones with 50W charger which takes around 1Hrs to full charge

Therefore average wattage = (10+18+30+50)/4 = 108/4 = 27Watts

Therefore average time = (3+2+1.5+1)/4 = 1.875 hours

Therefore average power usage per 100% = 27*1.875 = 50Watts per day

Doubling the value for reducing margin of Error = 100Watt per day

Therefore total carbon emission = 0.071KG of Carbon

In comparison lets see the usage of a coffee maker. Suppose a typical user uses the coffee maker for 15Mins/Day

therefore total usage of Kilowatts = 0.2 per day & Image

Now 1 Cup of coffee takes 150-300 watts

Avergage usage of coffee = (150+300)/2 = 225 watts.

therefore total carbon emission of 1 cup coffee = 0.159 KGs

which is approximately 2 Times than this test. Therfefore the carbon footprint at the highest amount of emmision is miniscule even less than 1 cup of coffee.
