Agreement

These terms and conditions apply to Stack, a personal finance tracker for mobile devices, hereby referred to as the "Application". The Application was created by Texts Dev, hereby referred to as the "Service Provider", as a freemium service.

By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these terms. Please read and understand them before using the Application.

Ownership

Unauthorized copying or modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or the Service Provider's trademarks is strictly prohibited. Attempts to extract source code, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted.

All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

Stack Service

Stack helps users record wallets, income, expenses, categories, budgets, notes, receipt attachments, spending statistics, and related personal finance information. The Application is an organizational tool and does not provide financial, tax, accounting, investment, or legal advice.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, the financial decisions you make, and the security of exported files or shared records. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss that results from relying entirely on the Application's calculations, summaries, budget alerts, statistics, or exported data.

The Service Provider works to keep the Application useful and reliable, but reserves the right to modify the Application, add or remove features, or charge for services at any time and for any reason. Any charges for the Application or its services will be clearly communicated to you.

Premium Features

Stack may offer free and Premium feature limits. Free users may have limits such as a fixed number of wallets or budgets, while Premium users may unlock additional wallets, budgets, and receipt image or PDF attachments.

Premium availability, pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling may depend on the app store, payment provider, or platform through which the purchase is made. You are responsible for reviewing purchase details before completing any transaction.

Device Security

The Application stores and processes data you provide in order to provide the Service. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your phone, account, exported files, receipt attachments, and access to the Application.

The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone. Such actions could expose your phone to malware, viruses, and malicious programs, compromise your phone's security features, and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.

Third-party Services

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions. The links below point to the Terms and Conditions of third-party service providers that may be used by the Application:

  • Google Play Services
  • Firebase

Connectivity and Charges

Some functions of the Application, including optional account sign-in, sync, restore, or purchase-related features, may require an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of connectivity or exhausted data allowance.

If you use the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider's agreement terms still apply. You may incur charges from your mobile provider for data usage, roaming data, or other third-party charges. By using the Application, you accept responsibility for any such charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you use the Application, it is assumed that you have obtained permission from the bill payer.

It is also your responsibility to ensure that your device remains charged. If your device runs out of battery and you are unable to access the Service, the Service Provider cannot be held responsible.

Updates and Termination

The Service Provider may update the Application at some point. The Application is currently available according to operating system requirements, and those requirements may change. You may need to download updates to continue using the Application.

The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will always be updated so that it remains relevant to you or compatible with the operating system version installed on your device. You agree to accept updates to the Application when offered.

The Service Provider may cease providing the Application and may terminate its use at any time without providing termination notice to you. Unless the Service Provider informs you otherwise, upon termination the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end, and you must cease using the Application and, if necessary, delete it from your device.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms and Conditions. You are advised to review this page regularly for changes. Changes are effective when posted on this page.

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 2026-06-16.
